We teach people with disabilities, including veterans and seniors, to learn to use the computer and digital devices with assistive technology. They uncover their potential to achieve their goals whether it’s securing a job, going to school, or enjoying digital activities.
Through our job placement services, we match skills and abilities to opportunities.
Our instruction is unique because it is highly personalized based on individual needs. All skill levels welcome.

Why Donka?
Our students’ success is our priority!
Donka is the area leader in providing assistive technology computer training to persons with disabilities; since 1987, nearly 900 individuals have graduated from our training program.
Referrals from DRS will cover part of your training cost. More than 90% of our students are low income per the 2016 MFI.
Computer training is customized for each student; curricula are based on our students’ individual training goals and using the AT that will best allow them to successfully achieve their goals.
With Donka’s fundraising efforts, partial training costs are covered for all students.
Donka’s student-to-instructor ratios are 1-on-1, or 2-on-1; training is focused on the student’s individual needs and learning styles.
Instructors are Microsoft certified and collectively have over 50 years of experience in training individuals with disabilities in using assistive technology.
