Spreading Our Mission at Chicago VisionWalk

A heartfelt thank you to the Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB) for hosting an incredible Chicago Vision Walk and for inviting Donka, Inc. to be part of this inspiring event. It was a wonderful day filled with meaningful conversations, community connections, and shared purpose as families, individuals, advocates, and organizations came together to support those living with vision loss and advance a more inclusive and accessible world.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with community members and share information about Donka’s programs and services and upcoming opportunities to support Donka’s mission.  

Donka Board Members, Rhonda Pavicich and Abby Taylor, joined our Marketing, Communications & Development Specialist, Anam Minhas, and proudly represented Donka at the event. As someone living with vision loss herself, Anam was honored to connect with attendees, share resources, and help spread awareness about the services and support available through Donka.

A huge shout-out to Jennifer (Jenni) Isenhower, Community Manager for FFB’s Chicago chapter, for putting together this wonderful event! Jenni was always there to help, ensuring Team Donka had everything needed for a successful event. Her support and teamwork truly embody the spirit of community.
